Diana Luik, LCSW

Diana Luik, LCSW comes to this clinical specialty from her many years working with children, adolescents, and adults treated on both an in-patient and out-patient basis at NY-Presbyterian-Weill/Cornell Hospital (Westchester Div. in White Plains, NY). She earned high respect for her unique combination of sensitivity and astuteness in her handling of seriously disturbed patients, many of whom were adopted. Her skills include CBT, DBT, and group therapy. Ms. Luik completed advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.  In her private practice in Westchester she continues to treat children, adolescents and adults, works with parents and couples, and offers specialized group treatment for adopted adolescents. Ms. Luik has a special interest in helping families with internationally adopted children, many of whom present a combination of difficulties including medical, neurological, and learning problems.
