Abby Maitland, LCSW practices in Teaneck, New Jersey and is an Adjunct Professor at the Hunter College/Silberman School of Social work. She also teaches clinical practice with children and adolescents as an Adjunct Professor at Ramapo College School of Social Work. For the past ten years she has been a Phase 3 Certified Trainer in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics developed by Bruce Perry, MD and the ChildTrauma Academy in Texas. In addition to treating children and adolescents with complex trauma, she provides evaluation/consultation-only as a means of identifying areas of brain functioning, resulting from early trauma, that require specialized approaches.
