Christopher F. Deeg, PhD

Christopher-F-Deeg-PhD-Northstar Christopher F. Deeg, PhD is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years experience treating adopted persons and those related to, or in relationship with, adopted persons. Dr. Deeg has training in cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal therapy, and advanced training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. He is the author of several papers and a textbook chapter on the psychology of adoption and the treatment of adopted persons. Dr. Deeg also provides consultation to adoption agencies and families of adopted persons.

Dr. Deeg is one of three editors for the forthcoming Routledge Handbook In The Clinical Treatment Of Adopted Adolescents And Young Adults which is expected to come out in 2021.
